Salman files a 100 crore defamation suit against TV channel
Salman files a defamation suit against a TV channel claiming that they are in possession of sting operation video of the blackbuck case, which is malicious and defamatory in nature.

The actor was acquitted by the Rajasthan HC in two cases related to poaching of two chinkaras. However, the blackbuck case awaits its fate.
According to a legal daily, Salman Khan's legal team has since then filed a defamation suit before a division bench of High Court in August this year. The actor claimed that there was a sting operation conducted by the channel in the 1998 chinkara poaching case was malicious and defamatory. By filing this suit, the actor wants the channel to be refrained/restrained from making public the video of the sting.
