‘Kick’ co-stars Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez are all set to reunite for the third instalment of the popular action-thriller franchise, ‘Race’. Helmed by Remo D’Souza, the film is all set to go on floors October with the first schedule being shot in Mumbai.
Preparations have begun for the month-long schedule in Mumbai. An insider source revealed, “The plan is to re-work the original title track with the new leads grooving to it.” The franchise is known for its popular tracks which include, ‘Allah Duhai Hai’, ‘Zara Zara Touch Me’, ‘Pehli Nazar’, ‘Party On My Mind’ and ‘Beintehaan’, ruling the charts.
Confirming the reports, producer Ramesh Taurani said, “As of now, Salman and Jacqueline have been finalised for the lead while Remo D’Souza is directing it. We are yet to lock the rest of the cast and crew. We start shooting on a set in Mumbai in October, followed by a long international schedule. We are currently figuring out the dates and foreign locations. The story is set abroad and will be completely different instead of taking off from the previous two films.”
While Jacqueline has been a part of the franchise, the latest instalment will see her stepping in as the lead. With Abbas-Mustan opting out and Remo D’Souza stepping in, we certainly cannot wait to see the film!
