The powerhouse actress, Kangana Ranaut, who has not had any release in the year 2016, will be seen having two releases in the year 2017. The actress will be seen in Vishal Bhardwaj's 'Rangoon' and Hansal Mehta's 'Simran', which are scheduled to release in 2017. While 'Rangoon' is all set for release in February, Simran's release date has just been announced. The film's producer Shailesh Singh announced the release date of the film on Twitter saying, "#Simran is in 15th sept. 2017.. @mehtahansal @Apurvasrani.”
Kangana, who is known to be an intense actor, at a recent event spoke about this one particular anecdote that happened during the shoot of Simran saying, 'For my character in my next film 'Simran', I was beaten by a few men for a scene. After the shot, I cried in the car as it was difficult to come to terms with the brutality. I had to remind myself that it was just a character'. Simran is said to be based on a real life story, and Kangana will be seen as a 30-year-old divorcee, Praful Patel in the movie.
Apart from Kangana's 'Simran', Varun Dhawan, Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez-starrer, 'Judwaa 2' is also touted to release around the same time. We don't know if the two films are all set to clash, but it will be an entertainment for the audience for sure!
