Ram Gopal Varma today took to Twitter to announce his international project, Nuclear, which is to be made on a budget of 340 crore. The filmmaker, who proudly announced his new venture, on the production house’s website stated, “I have been an avid and voracious reader of both fiction and non-fiction but never in my life until now, have I come across a subject matter like NUCLEAR. Yes it's going to be much more costlier than the most expensive film ever made in India and the reason for that is because the subject matter truly demands that it is filmed on a scale never before seen.”
The film is made in collaboration with CMA, which is a film corporation foraying into productions. The company on its website states that the company found the film’s subject interesting and decided to make the film irrespective of its cost. They also mention that Nuclear is not a Bollywood film, but an international film. The film, they say, will be shot in America, Russia, India, and China. And their cast will compromise actors who will be Indians, British, Americans, Yemenis, Russian, and Chinese.
While the subject and the project look quite promising, a film on the matter like nuclear will surely make an interesting film.
