Last night, Om Swami was evicted from the Bigg Boss house and was put into a secret room where he will be able to see and hear everything the contestants do and talk, without their knowledge. Undoubtedly, he has always been one of the most talked about contestants of Bigg Boss 10. The self-acclaimed tantrik has a habit of taking credit for all the good things that happen in the house. Everyone avoids asking his opinion on anything, for once he opens his mouth and starts to speak, he doesn’t know how to stop. And more than that, nothing he ever has to say, ever makes any sense.
But not many people are aware of the not so-Swamiji side of Om Swami. Apparently, there are seven criminal cases against him, for crimes that involve robbery, obscene pictures of women, hoarding of arms and he has been slapped under the Arms Act, TADA (Terrorist and Disruptive Activities [Prevention] Act) and other laws.
In 2008, Om Swami’s own brother accused him of breaking into his bicycle shop in Lodhi Colony along with three other men and robbing him of 11 bicycles. He also stole expensive spare parts, sale deed of the house and some important documents.
Apart from theft and robbery, the Delhi Police has reported Om Swami’s involvement in seven criminal cases under the Arms Act and TADA. The Defence Colony police officials exposed Om Swami when they found huge cache of arms and ammunitions in his illegal possession.
But this doesn’t end here. The man who keeps calling the female contestants in the Bigg Boss house ‘charitraheen’ for irrelevant reasons, was found blackmailing women to extort money from them by using their obscene photos as the bait.
All these warrants were issued just a couple of days prior to the BB10 premiere. A fourth bailable warrant was issued against him regarding the theft case right after he entered the house. He was supposed to appear in the court on the 14
th of October. But when he failed to do so and nobody neither appeared to represent him, non-bailable warrants were issued against him.
