Bollywood actress and global icon Priyanka Chopra has had a busy schedule ahead of her return as she has been round the clock working and promoting social causes. She is Unicef's Global Goodwill Ambassador and recently visited Zimbabwe to promote the cause of end violence. She is soon to visit Assam as she is promoting Assam Tourism, and has also been backing regional cinema through her production house.
Ask her if she feels burdened by the social responsibilities, Priyanka quips, "Not at all." Further elaborating on the same to IANS, Priyanka said, "It's what I have chosen to do and every one of them is something I am passionate about. Using my time and influence to do good is a human being's social responsibility and I take mine seriously."
Priyanka is now awaiting the release of her Hollywood debut 'Baywatch', and has been busy promoting the film. She has also signed on to do three Bollywood films which she plans to announce post the release of 'Baywatch'.
Talking about the kind of stories Bollywood has been churning, Priyanka adds, "I'm amazed by the variety of stories that filmmakers are conceptualising today... The audiences are changing and so is the storytelling. It's quite an experience reading the scripts or hearing a narration."
