Nitesh Tiwari: There was no scope to make 'Dangal' better
'Dangal' director Nitesh Tiwari in a recent interview opened up about the success of 'Dangal', and his plans for the future

The film is currently in its sixth week and has managed to earn Rs 1.79 crore, taking the domestic collection figure to Rs 385.66 crore. 'Dangal' has since become the highest grossing Indian film of all time.
Talking about the success of Dangal, director Nitesh Tiwari in a recent interview with IANS revealed that he will not change anything about 'Dangal', for there was no scope to make the film better than what it is. The director said, "Dangal is one project that is made with full satisfaction. I never felt that there was a scope to make the film better or some parts of the script could have written better. Dangal is perfect in every area. It was made the way we wanted.”
Nitesh was all praises for his 'Dangal' team and added, "It is a reassurance for us that a large number of the audience loved and recommended the film. This is a big happiness for me and my team.”
When quizzed about his future projects, Nitesh added, "I am open to making any kind of movie and I don’t like to restrict myself. However, it ultimately depends on… at what point of time which story interests me. I might make a thriller or horror film.”
