Rajkummar Rao is all set to reunite with his on-screen partner, Kangana Ranaut as the two will be seen in the psychological thriller, 'Mental Hai Kya'. Helmed by Prakash Kovelamudi, the film is penned by Kanika Dhillon and it goes without saying that Rajkummar and Kangana will make one hell of a dynamic duo on the screen.
In an interview with a leading tabloid, Rajkummar spoke about how he was blown away by just the narration of the film. The actor said, "For the narration, I met them together, and I was blown away. It was edgy, thrilling and as the characters are well-defined, my mind was full of ideas." On working with Kangana, Rajkummar revealed, "I had such a great time shooting with her, I’m a great admirer of her work, be it 'Tanu Weds Manu' or its sequel. We both play unique characters and it will be great to see how we execute it."
Rajkummar has quite a line-up of films this year including 'Fanne Khan'
, 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Ko Aisa Laga' and 'Stree'. "Before 'Mental Hai Kya'
, whose prep is going to be as intense as my work in 'Shahid' or 'Trapped', even though the genres are different, I want to be done with all the other films. I’ll only be focusing on 'Mental Hai Kya' then," Rajkummar stated.
