As reported earlier, Kajol in the beginning of the year announced that she will be soon starting her own home production. She also stated that she plans to launch her production venture in September. However, when a leading daily recently spoke to the actress, Kajol revealed that the plan never came through.
Talking to the leading daily about her plans of launching the venture in September, Kajol said, "I am not cut out for it." She further added that she should rather invest her time in her husband Ajay Devgn's film productions. "Why should I push myself into doing something that doesn't come naturally to me," questioned the actress.
"I don't find the need to break away from Ajay Devgn Films (ADF). He understands production better than I do, and in this respect, I am happy to be under his shadow," said Kajol. She also said that she only offers inputs when Ajay approaches her. "Ajay is managing it well enough," continued Kajol.
Further revealing that the actor and she herself are undeterred by 'Shivaay's' Box Office debacle, Kajol added, "Ajay did a good job as director and actor, and Abigail [Eames, co-actor] made me howl. But he is hard to break, and has me by his side, always."
