Ranbir Kapoor has reportedly been signed for an Aditya Chopra production which will be helmed by Karan Malhotra. However, the director, after directing 'Brothers' and 'Agneepath' for Karan Johar's production house, has now signed a three-film deal with Aditya Chopra. Malhotra and Johar apparently also had a huge fallout post which Aditya Chopra approached him and signed him for a three-film deal. What's more? Aditya apparently has already signed on, Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar's favourite, for the film too!
This apparently hasn't gone down well with Johar. He is reportedly rather upset with Aditya Chopra for signing on someone he has had a fallout with. Reports suggest that Karan Johar and Aditya Chopra too got into a heated argument with regards to Karan Malhotra. However, Ranbir Kapoor who is close to Karan Johar played peacemaker between the friends.
Karan holds Aditya Chopra in high regard and had once said, “Aditya Chopra and I have a really amazing bond when it comes to our opinions. We message and call each other when we love a film, when we don't, then the silence is meant to be understood. We have this like unfailing protocol that exists between us. He is never going to lie to me and I am not going to lie to him because he will catch me in that moment and I don't think Adi is capable of lying. We have that code of silence. Aditya Chopra is the only person I don't lie to.”
Well, we bet all is well by now. If not, we hope it will be soon! It's terrible to see friends fall apart, isn't it?
