There has been a lot of speculation surrounding the sequel to the 2005 blockbuster film 'No Entry'. Titled 'No Entry Mein Entry' the sequel has made headlines a few times owing to the star cast of the film. While it is known that Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan are onboard for the project, Salman is yet to green light the project.
Producer Boney Kapoor and director Anees Bazmee both have spoken about the film in the media. In fact, there were reports that the filmmaker had approached Hrithik Roshan to play the lead, however, both, the actor and Boney Kapoor rubbished them as rumours.
Anees Bazmee and Boney Kapoor are currently waiting for Salman to sign on the dotted lines so that the film can go on floors. Speaking about the film in an
EXCLUSIVE interview with Team MissKyra, director Anees threw light on the fate of the project.
Anees said, "
About ‘No Entry Mein Entry’, Boney Kapoor would be able to tell you more than I can. He will be able to tell you better what is he planning for the film. I am ready with the script, waiting for Boney Kapoor to give a green signal."
Further elaborating on Salman's involvement in the film, the filmmaker added, "
I don't know why is there any confusion related to Salman being a part of the film. Salman is a good friend of mine. I have made two super-hit movies with Salman - ‘No Entry’ and ‘Ready’. There are no differences between us as we keep meeting quite often like we meet at least once a week. Having said that, all the dates and the issues related to money is managed by actors themselves. My job was to narrate the film to Salman, which I have done, and he has also liked the script a lot."
When asked if just like the actors, he plans to repeat the actresses too, Anees concluded, "
We haven't finalised on the actresses as yet. Once we finalise on the dates of Anil, Fardeen and Salman is when we will take a call on the leading ladies of the film."
With Salman's hands already full with projects like 'Tiger Zinda Hai', Remo D'Souza's untitled next, 'Dabangg 3', Atul Agnihotri's 'Bharat' and Karan Johar's untitled next, the fate of the sequel remains undecided.
