The Global Citizen Festival aims to raise awareness regarding socio-econoic problems like illeteracy, healthcare and sanitation, poverty etc. A grand event is all set to take place at the MMRDA grounds on this November 19
th. The event would be graced by Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan; and among performances, Coldplay, Jay Z, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Farhan Akhtar, Shraddha Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Arijit Singh and some others are all geared up to set the stage on fire. However, it seems as more and more celebrities join the list, things have started to get complicated for the Global Citizen Festival team because of the personal issues of the stars amongst each other.
Sonakshi Sinha has refused to grace the event at the same time as ex-boyfriend Arjun Kapoor, just as Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif refuse to be present at the same time to avoid facing each other. They even skipped the inaugural function because of this and the organisers fear that this will become a major issue in the main event as well.
Although, there’s good news for Deepika-Ranveer fans as the two will be seen together at the event.
