After many months of speculation and rumours, the news is finally confirmed, Varun Dawan is all set to romance Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez in 'Judwaa 2'. 'Judwaa 2' is the sequel to the 1997 hit, 'Judwaa', and will be helmed by director David Dhawan.
Varun Dhawan confirmed this with a twitter announcement saying, “It’s OFFICIAL.@taapsee and @Asli_Jacqueline with the two of me #Judwaa2.”
Varun Dhawan and David Dhawan had last joined forces for the 2014 romantic-comedy Main Tera Hero.
This will be the second time that Jacqueline and Varun will be seen on screen together, they were last seen together in Dishoom. Taapsee, who is riding high off the success of her last outing, 'Pink', will be seen returning to comedy after a long time.
Salman Khan will also be seen making a cameo appearance in the film in a pivotal role as Godfather Gunda. While the original 1997 film, 'Judwaa' starring Salman Khan, Karishma Kapoor and Rambha was a hit, let's hope that the sequel has the same fate!
