Like every other film, Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon starrer 'Raabta' too had to go through the CBFC scanner. While the share a startling off-screen chemistry, the comfort in their friendship also reflects as they create magic on screen when cast opposite each other.
However, it is the chemistry they share in 'Raabta' that has come under CBFC scrutiny. A leading daily report suggests that there are a few scenes in the films that have raised eyebrows, and the CBFC has apparently demanded that the scenes be trimmed from the film.
According to the daily, the kissing scene between Sushant and Kriti were too hot to handle and so the CBFC suggested that the scene be removed. A source close to the daily revealed, "The language used in a few scenes was very dirty. The Censors were flabbergasted that such a thing could exist in a simple love story of two young stars who are so loved by the masses and have a following amongst the kids. They even found Kriti-Sushant's kiss too hot to handle."
The source further added, "The makers were asked to go back home and make the changes if they wanted a U/A certificate. Else, they would have got only an A certificate and the matter was non-negotiable."
A confirmation and development on the same from filmmaker Dinesh Vijan are awaited.
