This season of Bigg Boss keeps getting wilder with each passing episode. After successfully completing the ‘BB Toofan’ task, Manveer and Rohan become contenders for captaincy. Bigg Boss announces a new task that will decide who will be the next captain of the house. As per the rules of the task, a mud bed is placed in the garden area and both Manveer and Rohan are given a pink and purple coloured flowers respectively to plant. Both of the contenders are supposed to plant their flowers and at the end of the task the contender who has planted more flowers will be declared as the new captain of the house.
Both Manveer and Rohan are done planting their flowers way before the allotted time. Soon after, Bigg Boss announces that the task would end in ten minutes and so the two start to inspect the bed. Manveer then bends down and tries to pluck one of Rohan’s flowers, despite Rohan telling him not to do so. This enrages Rohan who starts to pluck out the pink flowers, and in turn, Manveer returns the favour! Not the one to keep away from controversy, Om Swami too jumps into the fray and starts to pluck out Rohan’s flowers. Gaurav pulls Swami away but when Swami starts to comment on Gaurav’s family and calling them names, Gaurav loses his cool and they start yelling at each other.
By now the captaincy task has ended and Bani starts counting the flowers. Perturbed by Om Swami's constant nagging, Rohan starts to yell at him for his unwanted interference in the task. Swami further instigates him and says if he is so angry then why doesn’t he hit him. Rohan loses his cool and pushes Om Swami away. Other contestants try to calm him down but Om Swami says that the act of violence has impaired his hearing ability. By now Bani is done counting and announces that since there are more of pink flowers left on the now destroyed mud bed, Manveer is the new captain of the house.
Soon after this Bigg Boss asks all the contestants to gather in the living area. He tells the contestants that Rohan’s act of violence against Om is not only unacceptable but also is against the rules of the show.
As a punishment for the deed, Bigg Boss nominates Rohan for the entire season. Rohan feels that Bigg Boss is unfair and that the action taken against him is unjust and extreme. He locks himself in the bathroom and says he would stay there till he is granted permission to leave the house. Even after constant persuasion from the contestants and warnings from Bigg Boss, Rohan refuses to come out.
Exasperated by Rohan's behaviour, Bigg Boss announces that if Rohan leaves the show abruptly then he would have to pay a heavy price as stated in their contract and also this would have a negative impact on his image. Following this, the contestants gather in the washroom to talk to Rohan.
