Award-winning music composer A.R.Rahman's song to be played at the Oscar concert
Now, there's news that his hit single 'Jai Ho' from the film 'Slumdog Millionaire' has been selected in the line-up to be played at the Oscar concert

His melodious music has left everyone mesmerised not just in India but in the Hollywood industry as well. Now, there's news that his hit single 'Jai Ho' from the film 'Slumdog Millionaire' has been selected in the line-up to be played at the Oscar concert. In the run-up to the 90th annual Oscars, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is collaborating with the Los Angeles Philharmonic for The Oscar Concert on February 28.
On Wednesday the organisations announced the concert schedule. Many other songs from various other Oscar nominees have been selected for the event. Oscar-winning composer Michael Giacchino and Oscar-winning director Pete Docter will also present a live demonstration of the scoring process. Music maestro Rahman had brought home not one but two Oscars for the 'Jai Ho' composition for the Danny Boyle film. Stay tuned for more updates.
