Anushka Sharma joined hands with her brother Karnesh Sharma and started a production house named Clean Slate Films. They first produced 'NH10', a gritty and intense story of an honour killing that portrayed the bravery of a woman who nearly escapes death. The second in line was the recently released 'Phillauri', the film saw Anushka play a ghost who is awaiting to meet her long lost love.
While their next production is going to be an already announced film, 'Kaneda', Anushka and Karnesh have now joined hands with KriArj Entertainment for their upcoming films. Confirming the news, Arjun N. Kapoor, co-founder of KriArj Entertainment, said, "Anushka is not only a powerhouse performer but also a very sensible producer. The passion, which she and Karnesh bring into their films, is something that we too identify with at KriArj."
He further added, "We are certain that our partnership will create content that will further the reputation of our young companies and stand out from the crowd."
Their first film together is rumoured to be a love story. KriArj Entertainment has collaborated with Kyta Productions on multiple ventures and in association they will soon kick start a joint production with Clean Slate Films.
