Who doesn't love a classic PB and banana sandwich, but let's be honest, it doesn't travel well, does it? Well, all you've got to do is swap the bread for a tortilla and things will be a lot different. Take a whole-wheat tortilla and spread some peanut butter on it. Cut slices of banana and place them in the tortilla, then roll it up and you're good to go.

Sweet potatoes are deliciously sweet and highly nutritious. Just the thought of a yummy baked sweet potato is enough to get you excited about lunchtime. All you have to do is roast a couple of sweet potatoes and leave it in the fridge overnight. You can add a variety of toppings - parsley, onion, garlic, chickpeas. This meal is easy to make and will help you to feel full for longer, which will help to get you through the day.

This is no ordinary peanut butter and jelly sandwich. You want to consume delicious food that is also healthy. For this recipe, you will need sourdough bread, organic peanut butter and jelly with no added sugar. You can even make your own jam instead of using a store-bought product. For a bit of extra nutrition, add chia seeds to your sandwich.

A yummy pasta salad tastes better at room temperature. You can make your salad and keep it in the fridge for a few hours before you take it to work. Make sure you load your salad with as much veggie goodness as you can. Think zucchini, cherry tomatoes and cucumbers. You could even mix it up and have a blend of raw and cooked vegetables in it. Don't forget to add that finishing touch: a drizzle of olive oil.
