Everyone is making their own list of go-to things, but unless you’ve planned and prepped carefully, you are about as likely to have success with these goals in the New Year. So, seize today. If you plan to start being a healthier you in two weeks, start making sure now that you are positioned to reach your goals.
Set the right goal
It’s all about healthy habits, and people often have a hard time creating and sustaining healthy habits if the goal is too vague and too broad. Start with one specific goal and then later maybe a couple of months down the road you can branch out. Once you have your goal, start thinking about specific actions. And most importantly, make that goal realistic. A common reason people sour on their New Year’s resolutions is that they didn’t set realistic goals, to begin with.
Make time
Make specific time for each goal of yours. It’s very important to channelize your goals one at a time. Make sure you keep enough time for each goal. Let it be even eating healthy food, make proper time for it has good and time to time meals. It is very important to make a note on the calendar which helps to guide our goals.
Find your community
It is very important to socialize. Make sure you interact with your close clan or best friends, find yourself where you belong and form a proper group. It is necessary to have a good group of people always. Take the time before Jan. 1 to figure out what exactly motivates you. You will need that motivation when the going gets tough around February.
Make a plan B
It is essential to have an alternative plan always. It becomes easy as you have options on hand to execute a particular task. For example, if you are following a diet and are not able to make one meal then make sure you have another alternative and eat something else which will not affect your diet plan.
