Rutabagas: These are rich in vitamin C and potassium. Potassium is quite crucial for heart function and muscle contraction and it even plays an important role in controlling the blood pressure. It is a great source of manganese, phosphorus, magnesium and vitamin B.
Parsnips: These are a different kind of root vegetable that look quite similar to carrots. They are an amazing source of potassium, manganese, magnesium and vitamins B and E. Parsnips are also very helpful for digestion as they have high fibre content.
