Sparkling tea - a blend of soda and organic tea - is the new wellness craze that even health experts love.Teas are known to have a wide range of benefits that includes reducing inflammation and cholesterol levels. However, this new beverage is ideal for people looking to obtain the benefits of tea and introduce something new to their taste buds.
"These beverages can provide the benefits of the tea in them," Jessica Cording, founder of Jessica Cording Nutrition, told a news portal. However, she urges people to be on the lookout for too many calories or sugar content in some of these products. "Also, if you're sensitive to caffeine, take that into account," she told a news portal. Adding, "While it's not as much as coffee, black tea and green tea (and therefore, matcha) do provide caffeine."
These teas are a mix of sparkling water, organic tea, fruits and botanical extracts. While most of them contain no added sugar or artificial flavours, they do come with caffeine.
