The Jagannath temple is one of the popular temples across India which treats god Jagannath nothing less than the celebrity. The god is offered fixed meals every day including 56 varieties of dishes. Each meal is served for the god on fixed hours and includes everything luxurious, ranging from peda to exotic fruits and even pure ghee in a silver container.

Another fading community in India are the Jews. Apart from their note-worthy culture and traditions, what still attracts people is their food. Shabbat is an important day in every Jew’s life which is celebrated with a massive feast. It starts by breaking their traditional bread called challah, dipped in salt and drinking a cup of wine. It is followed by a full-course meal of unique dishes, such as mahashas, roasted meat, Kubba and the list goes on!

The breakfast is one of the important meal for the Tibetan monks in India which is surrounded by their religious influences. It includes the salty butter tea and puk, a hand made bread. This combination is ideal to warm up bodies even in winter months.
