Now that we're all stuck indoors due to the lockdown, most people have chosen to take this time to pay more attention to their hobbies or try to get into better shape or even opt for fun pampering sessions at home. But if there's one thing that most of us are wondering what to do about, it has to be our hair. Unless you're a hairdresser you can't really do anything fancy to your hair, can you? Well, if you're wondering how you can best take care of your hair during this time, here are some dos and don'ts to follow.
Dos: Trim your hair if it gets too long. You need to ensure that you don't end up with split ends or else you might have to have a lot of your hair chopped off to ensure that all of it doesn't get damaged. Watch a few easy tutorials on YouTube and you'll be good to go.
Don'ts: Don't bleach or colour or perm your hair on your own. If anything goes wrong it'll turn into a disaster you won't be able to manage. And let's just say your hairdresser won't be too thrilled about having to help with it either.
Dos: Opt for DIY hair spas. You can always google up some ingredients for a DIY hair spa and opt for a fun pamper session. These can help improve your hair's texture and shine and can also protect it against damage. They're also super relaxing so really it's a win-win situation.
Don'ts: Do NOT try to give yourself a fancy haircut. We're sure you've watched plenty of videos on how that can go wrong for you and it'll just be a mess for your hairdresser to fix later on.
Make sure you follow these tips and you'll be good to go. Stay tuned for more updates.
