The process of ageing is inevitable and one of its early sign is hair loss. It is a natural part where the shedding of hair occurs to every individual and it’s nothing to worry about. You can be losing up to 100 hairs from your body every day, and you won’t be able to tell the difference. However, sometimes this shedding of hair can get frequent, and of course, upsetting. Excessive hair fall can lead to baldness which can trigger insecurity, especially in men. If you’re someone who might be experiencing the same issue and has almost tried everything that claims to bring back your hair, then we suggest you give this age-old solution the last try before sulking in.
Applying shallot juice is a great way that can lower your chances of hair loss. It has been used for a very long time as it contains sulphur that can potentially help in hair re-growth. It is known for its antioxidant-rich profile, also called flavonoids. These flavonoids can protect the body from harmful free-radicals. We all know how much these free-radicals can contribute to speeding up our ageing process and one of its sign is thinning of hair.
If you’re convinced to give this claimed natural remedy a try, you can easily prep it at home for daily application. Start by peeling the shallots and cut them in halves to make the process easier. You can hand grate them to extract its juice or shove them in a mixer grinder to do the job for you, however, you must not add water. Once the paste is ready, strain it through a cheesecloth or fine-mesh to collect its juice. Apply this juice concentrating on your bald patches and hair root. You can leave it for 15 to 20 minutes till absorbed by your hair scalp. Post that, wash your hair with a mild shampoo to eliminate any smell. You may repeat this three times in a week religiously to see some effective result.
Remember, losing your hair isn’t necessarily something that someone needs to feel ashamed or worried about. In rare situations, thinning of hair can also be a sign of an underlying medical condition that requires a doctor’s intervention.
