It's the wedding season and it's time all you grooms-to-be get back in shape before your big day. Now before anything else, let us make it very clear that a crash diet isn't the answer to your fitness woes. Exercise and 'mindful' dieting are key to getting back in shape. Here are a few more tips to follow to ensure you look fit before your wedding day...
Your diet: You need to keep a track of what and how much you are eating. Count your calories and ensure you know your daily intake of the proteins, carbohydrates and fats you consume. Keep your fat intake on a lower end and keep a track of your body weight.
Watch your alcohol intake: We understand that you will be attending a lot of parties before your wedding day as the festivities will begin, but ensure you keep a track of your alcohol intake and do not go berserk on the alcohol either. More alcohol equals more empty calories. Drink in moderation.
Exercise: Watching your diet is not enough. Exercise is key to losing weight and becoming fit. Movement burns calories and ensure you do not exercise just for a couple of days. Follow through with it and you won't want to stop, trust us.
Pick up weights: While cardio is important to do, hit the weights. You will burn more calories and feel stronger too.
