Karan Johar isn’t just great behind the camera but in front of it too (provided that the picture has been taken from his left profile). The director is also known to be one who takes to Instagram to post all that happens in his life, to keep his fans updated. And today, barring all his fashion awesomeness, we decided to understand what his Mumbai home looks like from all the pictures he has shared. Scroll to see what we discovered…

The new Gauri Khan-designed nursery space is set against dark wooden flooring and features all-white interiors with colourful doodles on the walls. An adorable all-white crib featuring illustrations of bears, and a matching mobile, is part of the quirky furniture Gauri has incorporated into the room.

From many pictures, like this one (as seen above), we have gotten to understand that the contemporary interiors of his home will instantly charm almost anyone! The living room offers plenty of natural light and is tastefully done up with a wood-panelled ceiling, futuristic lights, plush sofas in bold and earthy hues, impressive artworks, standout centrepieces and opulent accessories. There is even a wall of pictures of his mom and the twins, we gather.

Designed yet again by Gauri Khan, the ace designer converted Johar’s rooftop terrace to a covetable party-worthy spot. The glamorous space now features a sculptured bar table and a pristine white, black and yellow couch, along with minimalistic lanterns and many potted trees.

If there is one thing we know for sure, it’s that Karan Johar loves his oversize jackets, cool tees and funky shoes. That being said, it comes as no surprise that the director will have a closet as great as any of his actors'. From his many pictures shared, we gather that he has a massive walk-in wardrobe. You’ll spot all of his envy-inducing fashion finds in this spartan wooden space. And of course, it features a large ceiling-to-floor mirror.

Other than a well-stocked bar and loads of space, it’s apparent from all the parties he has had that his space is a spacious one. When he does host a house-party for his close friends (you’ll find Bollywood A-listers like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, among many others), he likes to deck out his home with quirky accessories, cute posters and fun props and lights.
