A new study states that people are at a higher risk of an early death due to preventable heart disease. Apparently, we hear that four out of five adults are at risk of early death due to cardiovascular diseases. Sheila Caldwell, a heart attack survivor said, "Heart disease is a largely self-inflicted disease." "Hopefully, knowing the 'heart age' is a wake-up call and, for some of our participants, it has been," she added.
Experts claim that most people who thought that they were healthy are in fact, not. 99 per cent of the U.S. adult population has at least one of the seven cardiovascular health risks. The risks include the likes of high blood pressure, high cholesterol, high blood glucose, unhealthy weight, tobacco use, physical inactivity, and poor diet.
According to experts, the easiest way to keep this issue in control is by asking people to exercise regularly and eat in moderation. Also, eating healthy is important.
