Sonam Kapoor may be the biggest fashion influencer in our country right now and with good reason. Not only is she dressed to the nines almost always (if not always) you will often find her make daring sartorial choices, pushing the line of “acceptable” with every look.
Just last week, the actress made heads turn at the Filmfare Awards with her bouffant, bright fuchsia Ralph & Russo gown. The day before she sported an immaculate white gown. A day later, she slipped into a glamorous black gown, but styled it like no one else would.
The actress is currently in Doha attending events and social gatherings. For an event for a non-profit, Sonam stepped her fashion game by wearing a gorgeous, but somewhat minimal gown in black by Marmar Halim. The power shouldered gown had a plunging neckline and a belt, that cinched at the waist. Sonam styled the look with a gorgeous maang-tikka and en emerald and pearl choker by Amrapali . A neat bun, deep smokey eyes and nude lips completed the look. We loved that the cuffs of the gown were embroidered and also had pockets.
Not even a day later, the actor stepped into another black ensemble, just as stylish and comfortable. This time, she chose to wear a baggy blazer, breezy silhouettes by a sustainable brand, ENVELOPE1976 and a fitted dark grey shirt. Her hair was tied in a messy French bun that was adorned with gorgeous hair ornaments by SATAT. But it was her dark pair of Lenons that sealed the deal.
Apart from making daring fashion choices, Sonam’s fashion choices are rarely impractical, making them very wearable.
Personally, we loved both the looks so much that we can’t choose any favourite? Which one did you prefer?
