There are many myths that we need to burst in regards to whether women to shave their face. From coarse hair growth to the fear of cut marks on your faces, these are common things you hear from women when asked why they don't shave their face. However, we should stand clear off these myths and know a few facts that indeed prove it is okay for women to shave.
1) The colour, pace of growth or thickness of hair cannot be altered by a razor. Only chemical processes or hormones can alter them.
2) Shaving helps exfoliate the skin and thus provides an anti-ageing benefit, except on the nose. It helps the products you apply to absorb better.
3) One should make sure they shave when the skin is dry. After shave avoid applying alcohol based products and especially for your face use aloe vera gel to get rid of the irritation.
4) Keep longer gaps between shaves and don't over do it until some body part has excessive hair growth.
5) Use disposable razors, ones that you can use and throw easily. Make sure you don't use a stained razor or a razor you pricked your finger with. Also make sure you change your razor and blades regularly.
