Pia Pauro has spent most of her life travelling and living in various different places and the diversity spells out beautifully through her designs. An alumnus of the London College of Fashion, Pia has worked with several high street brands and is today the proud owner of her own brand 'Pia Pauro'. And while her degree and experience lend a lot to her designs, her impeccable personal style too comes in handy. Today, presented by Sunar, the designer has showcased her latest collection at the Delhi Times Lifestyle Week and we couldn't be gladder.
The ramp saw an exquisite range of looks as also a multitude of colours. Not only were the outfits displayed ultra chic but also so wearable! Being the nomad she has been, the diversity reflected greatly in her designs. Pia stuck with shorter silhouettes for most of her looks putting on display mini dresses, short jumpsuits, shorts and more. The designer even chose to embellish a couple of pieces making them 'party-ready' and when she did away with that, she resorted to technicoloured striped looks instead. Don't miss the trendy leg warmers. Pia's collection was modern but had visible Indian influences too. From the fabric used to the prints and even a couple of silhouettes displayed, her clothes exuded those slight contemporary-Indian vibes.
Pia herself took to the ramp in what looked like a long white kurta styled over striped straight-fit pants. And she ingeniously lent those 'nomad' feels to it with a thin brown belt to cinch her waist as also give the number that shape. With kolhapuris, she completed her outfit and looked like quite the model herself.
