Whether you believe it or not, eyebrows can make or break your look. And in the world of beauty, we sure have come a long way when it comes to brows. There was a time when thin and highly-arched brows were the rage and today, it’s all about more natural-looking and fuller brows. And to achieve the right look, we all fill them in however, there might be mistakes we might make on the way. Here’s what you should avoid…
Avoid choosing dark colours: Chances are that your brows will end up looking too harsh or too bold for your face. So, if you have jet-black brows, opt for a dark brown to fill them with.
Stop trying to make them look like identical twins: Much like your eyes, your brows can never be identical, so it’s more natural for them to look unidentical than you tweaking them here and there to look exactly like each other!
Stop filling them in from the start: If you start your application from the centre of your face, it can accentuate the brows in a place where it doesn’t need to be accentuated and that can make your eyes look angry. Instead, always start filling them in from the middle and extend to the outside corner.
Avoid the pressure: Being heavy handed when filling your eyebrows can end up looking disastrous as the extra product might look too strong and over empowering. You don’t want that now, do you?
Stop with the tweezers: Tweezing all the time can leave your brows looking over-plucked. Make sure to only remove the excess strands that need to be adjusted.
