Recently actor Kamal Haasan announced his entry into politics just a little while after south superstar Rajinikanth had announced his entry into the field. Now, speaking about the possibility of joining hands with each other, Kamal said, "Joining hands with Rajinikanth is not a decision that has to be taken now. Only time can answer that. In fact, both of us have to think on whether to have a political alliance and whether our (different) policies would enable that." When Rajinikanth was asked about the same, he said, "Only time can tell."
He further added, "the system has to be set right in Tamil Nadu first before looking for change in other places. A decision on contesting the local body polls and Lok Sabha elections will also be taken at the right time." An analyst spoke about the same and said, "The alliance, if it happens, will be a political alliance of aryan and dravidian principles. That was a divide created by C N Annadurai from 1949, after forming the DMK, and which became profound after 1967."
Members of Rajinikanth's party have not ruled out the possibility of the two stars having a friendly arrangement. "While our Thalaivar's reach is much wider and his connect with the people is much deeper than that of Kamal, we expect the two to have an understanding during elections," a member said.said. Well, in Rajinikanth's own words it looks like only time will tell if the two parties will form an alliance. Stay tuned for more updates.
