We bet all of you are in the know of the Women's Marches that took place as thousands of demonstrators filed into the Sam Boyd Stadium near Las Vegas on Sunday. It was the culmination of a weekend in which dozens of Women's Marches took place in cities across the United States.Many entertainers too were seen taking to the podium to deliver inspiration speeches. And while issues about women were of prime importance, the march was as much a protest against President Trump.
While last year, Trump took to Twitter saying “Watched protests yesterday but was under the impression that we just had an election! Why didn’t these people vote? Celebs hurt cause badly" this year, he tried a different, more creative approach: attempting to take ownership of the event to push his own agenda.Ignoring the fact that the demonstration was a protest against him, he tweeted on Saturday, “Beautiful weather all over our great country, a perfect day for Women to March." He then urged people to “[g]et out there now to celebrate the historic milestones.”
