Sushant Singh Rajput, who is currently busy with the whirlwind promotions of his romantic-drama 'Raabta' has been training for his upcoming projects, 'Chanda Mama Door Ke' and 'Romeo Akbar Walter'.
While Sushant has been training hard to play the part of a spy in the espionage thriller, 'Romeo Akbar Walter', reports are that actor will head to Kashmir to shoot for the same. 'Romeo Akbar Walter' AKA 'RAW', is set in 1971 against the backdrop of a prelude to the 1972 Indo-Pak war. The film will not only feature the valley extensively but will also be shot in the region.
Talking about the decision, writer-director Robbie Grewal revealed, "The film is set in 1971 but it isn’t about the war. The story unspools before it begins and is inspired by true incidents. We’re going to be filming in multiple regions in the Indian sub-continent, including Kashmir and Nepal. We are prepping up to create a thrilling world, the kind you haven’t seen before. Our sole aim is to capture the look and feel of the era."
When further prodded about who will be playing the female lead, Robbie added, "The leading lady is crucial to the story but we’re yet to lock an actress."
Signing off Robbie revealed that Sushant will not only play the part of Romeo, Akbar and Walter but will also be seen playing various looks throughout the film. Produced by Bunty Walia, 'Romeo Akbar Walter' is all set to release in 2018.
