The first look for Sushant Singh Rajput starrer 'Romeo Akbar Walter' was launched recently and let's just say that the audience went crazy about it. Amidst all the glory, suddenly there were rumours that the film might get shelved but the makers denied all such rumours. Not much later after that, Sushant himself said that he had opted out of the film.
Sushant recently spoke with a leading tabloid, about opting out of the movie and stated, "Unfortunately, I will not be part of 'Romeo Akbar Walter' due to changes in my prior commitments. I wanted to be part of the project because I love the story, and believe it must be told, but, that will not happen."
Now, reportedly co-producer Bunty Walia lashed out at Sushant for leaving the project in a lurch. Bunty had earlier stated that they had planned to kick off the project by the 1st of October and wrap up the film by November 30, but Sushant's exit had left everything in a mess.
When Sushant was quizzed about Bunty's comments, he stated, "And I don't like to justify. I love Bunty and he is a dear friend and me saying anything won't stop people from forming opinions so I would like to save my energy and concentrate on what I do best, my work."
