Sonam Kapoor won hearts of many as she recently walked in a bridal wear for Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla's show in the capital. This is not the first time that the actress absolutely slayed in a bridal wear as she also was the show stopper for Ralph and Russo the last time she walked a ramp in an ivory gown.
Walking in a bridal wear, the actress in her interaction with a leading daily spoke largely about marriage. Sonam said, "The best part has to be the coming together of friends and families under one roof to celebrate. I also love how couples write passages or vows for one another and read them out… I think it’s really meaningful and beautiful. Besides that, I love everything about shringar and mehandi, along with all the games that one plays during different ceremonies."
Talking about her parents Anil and Sunita, Sonam added, "Yes, they are really cool and always in sync with one another. They let us choose our own paths. They are, in fact, my role models for a picture perfect marriage. I have always modelled them as an ideal couple and learnt from them that best friends make the best couples. More than that, I also have learnt that wedding is not as important as a successful marriage."
"A happy bride is the best bride. I think someone who’s happy and excited to start her new life is always a quintessential bride," said the actress when asked about her definition of a bride.
