Sonakshi refuses to comment on ‘Noor’
Sonakshi Sinha, who had initially refused to comment on banning Pakistani artists, has now refused to talk about ‘Noor’ which is based on a girl from Karachi.

The movie is based on the book ‘Karachi, You’re Killing Me’, written by the Pakistani author Saba Imtiaz. However, when asked about the film and her part in it, Sonakshi said, “We will talk about my next film later. I don’t want to comment on it right now, I am not playing a Pakistani reporter, the film is adapted from a book of a Pakistani author.”
Sonakshi earlier had also refused to comment on the demand to put a ban on the Pakistani artists. But when she was later asked if we should expect a statement from the Pakistani actors condemning the Uri attacks, she said, “We can only speak for ourselves and do our job and stand by our own people who is what we are doing.”
