It is a well-known fact that Shah Rukh Khan was a Delhi boy before he set foot in the showbiz and eventually shifted to Mumbai. The actor has not forgotten his roots and often speaks highly of the life he lived there. As King Khan heads to the capital to promote his next release 'Raees', this time he plans to travel in a different manner. Dropping off the regular pattern and schedule of reaching the airport, boarding the flight and landing in the city, makers of 'Raees' along with SRK will ditch the flight travel this time and instead, will travel by railways.
As SRK's character in the film is very earthy and rooted there is a subconscious connect with the train as a mode of transport. The actor thought this will be a good way to connect with the masses. The superstar travelled by train during the initial stages of his career, and so it is going to be nostalgic for the actor who is all set to board a train after a very long time!
In fact, the entire team, producer Ritesh Sidhwani, director Rahul Dholakia and others will also be taking the rail commute along with SRK. And this has triggered sheer excitement amidst the entire team. The train that SRK and the team are boarding is an August Kranti that will leave from Bombay Central at evening 5 pm and will reach Hazrat Nizamuddin at 10.55 am in the morning.
We wish the team a very happy journey as they sign off in the most 'Raees' way, Aa Raha hoon main, this time by train!
