Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan's on-screen camaraderie attracts a lot of audience attention. Their many fans have longed to see the two share screen space, but nothing materialised. But the wait for the two to share the silver screen will soon end as Shah Rukh is making a special appearance in Salman starrer 'Tubelight'. Shah Rukh will be seen playing a magician in the film.
However, the two have had an on-and-off relationship. The two were at loggerheads before they hugged it out at an Eid party, and since then Salman and SRK continue to be on good terms. The question still remains as to when will the two be seen sharing the silver screen together like they did in 'Karan Arjun'.
A news portal recently asked Shah Rukh as to when will the audiences get to him and Salman on screen together. To this, Shah Rukh said, "I think now people overreact to Karan-Arjun coming back. We have come back so often. Sometimes, I feel how many times will Karan-Arjun keep coming back? By now, even Rakhee ji would have felt bad that Karan and Arjun are coming back so many times; itna bhi nahi bulaya tha maine (I didn’t call them so many times) (laughs). I find it odd. In a certain sense, there’s a sense of seniority (between us), not in terms of age, but the positioning when we came here (industry). I was new for four years, while he had been working. We both are hot headed; all of us are. We all have our own issues and they will stem up from time to time. Until next time when we have a public fight, it’s good (laughs)."
When asked about his cameo in 'Tubelight', Shah Rukh in an earlier interview with DNA had mentioned, "Yes, I am doing a special role in the film. Salman’s a dear friend and I have known Kabir since his college days. So I’m doing it out of love for them."
