As reported earlier, after no show in 2016, Saif Ali Khan is all geared up for four releases this year. Apart from 'Baazaar', Saif starrer 'Chef' is to release in June and 'Kalakaandi' in September. Another film that saw Saif in a lead role, 'Rangoon', already hit theatres on 24th February this year.
And now, a leading daily report suggests that the actor is in talks with filmmaker Nikkhil Advani for a yet another project. Nikkhil recently informed that he has dropped the idea of making a film on Operation Blue Star, and there are recent reports that he has approached Saif for a film on the Batla House encounter.
A source close to the daily revealed, "Nikkhil wanted an older, experienced actor to play the role of Inspector Mohan Chand Sharma. He has already bounced the idea to Saif and he has liked it."
While Saif confirmed the development, he also added, "We haven’t signed anything yet. We are talking about it. But I’m still sinking into 'Baazaar'. Once I get comfortable, we will start talking about it."
Well, if Saif signs on to do the film, this will be his third collaboration with Nikkhil after 'Kal Ho Na Ho' and 'Baazaar'.
