Pre-wedding shenanigans have already started. Yes, we're obviously talking about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal wedding! And the buzz is that apparently, Meghan Markle reportedly had a spa-themed bridal shower over the weekend which was thrown for her by her closest friends. A little over two months before she marries Prince Harry on the 19th of May, the bride-to-be's party took place at Soho Farmhouse in the Oxfordshire countryside, about two hours outside of London, sources told a leading entertainment portal.
The rustic-chic venue is an elite members club and extension of Soho House, for which Markle's friend Markus Anderson (who was rumoured to have introduced her to Harry) is a consultant. In fact, Anderson was the one who organised the shower, according to sources. The Farmhouse boasts 100 acres of countryside, an array of well-decorated cabins and cottages, a spa, indoor and outdoor pools, a theatre, tennis courts, boating, horse-riding, barn restaurants and more, according to its website. The venue looks like a cosy getaway, a place perfect for girls who just want to have fun!
It was apparently a "small group of mostly her London friends," a source told a leading entertainment portal. The people who attended the shower include writer Lindsay Jill Roth and Pilates Platinum founder Heather Dorak. "It's just a relaxing day of good food and pampering," a source told the portal. It's unclear whether Markle's future in-law, Kate Middleton, was also present. Perhaps she'll join in on the bride-to-be's upcoming bachelorette party which is also expected to be 'low-key'. "It's sorted but it will be fun," said Markle talking about it earlier.
