Actress Kangana Ranaut is super busy shooting for her upcoming film, 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi' in Jaipur. Many photos of the actress have surfaced on the internet and her fans are going gaga all over them. A while back, Kangana was shooting in Hyderabad and she suffered a deep cut on her forehead during a sword fight scene with her co-star Nihar Pandya. The actress got a total of 15 stitches on the forehead and had been advised rest for four days.
Meanwhile, when actor Nihar was asked about Kangana's injury, the actor replied, "I’m glad Kangana treated the accident so well and continued shooting. She was very accommodating and eased the situation." He added, "Kangana is a thorough professional. She is different as soon as the camera is on."
When Kangana was asked about her injury, the actress replied, "I am a bit embarrassed to be thrilled to have a battle scar on my face. Also, people from my team have been telling me that it's like that Peshwa teeka that Manikarnika wore. It's a bit dramatic but I am excited that my face was covered in blood and I got a genuine and authentic glimpse of the Queen's life."
She further spoke about her injury and stated, "I was doing a sword fighting scene with three men. (Laughs) I guess Nihar (Pandya, who plays Rao Saheb) forgot his cue and he hit on my head. There’s no way of avoiding something so unfortunate like this. Especially, when it’s choreography related. The coordination of the various elements is difficult. It was a bad accident. It exposed my bone and my face was full of blood."
