We can only imagine what Janhvi Kapoor must be going through right now. The actress recently lost her mother and legendary actress, Sridevi and it was a loss that the whole nation mourned. Janhvi was amidst shooting for her debut film, 'Dhadak' when news broke out of the sudden loss of her mother and it was said that she would take a slight break to deal with her immense loss. However, that news seems to have been untrue. Janhvi apparently has resumed shooting for 'Dhadak' and will soon be seen sharing screen space with Ishaan Khatter.
A source told a leading daily, "Janhvi and Ishaan will be shooting in Bandra for the next couple of days where they will film some romantic scenes. In the coming week, the duo will head to Kolkata to begin work on the story post-interval, when the lovers elope. They have completed the shoot of the first half which kicked off last December and was shot across Rajasthan and on a set in Mumbai where parts of the state were recreated."
Director Khaitan confirmed the news saying, "Yes, we have resumed the shoot, rumours of the team taking a break are untrue. We have started off in Mumbai and are looking forward to the Kolkata schedule." Post Sridevi's demise, producer of the film, Karan Johar is making sure personally that Janhvi is comfortable when it comes to the shoot of 'Dhadak' as he knows it is too soon for her to rush into work, according to a leading news agency. He is going all out to make the next schedule a smooth ride for Janhvi and has asked the team to go slow on her.
A source revealed to the news agency, "Karan was close to Sridevi; he is also close to Janhvi now. He understands that she will not be in a position to work for a while. He has even instructed the team to take it easy with her. Having said that, Karan wants it to be a film that Sridevi would have been very proud of."
