Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are now officially man and wife. The couple tied the knot over two marital ceremonies on the 14th and the 15th of November at Lake Como.
While most of us had a tingling that Deepika Padukone would be a Sabyasachi Mukherjee bride, they were just guesses. However, it did turn out that the bride and groom did go with Sabyasachi outfits.
For their Konkani ceremony, Deepika chose a gorgeous red kanjeevaram saree with a gold border that, by tradition was gifted to her by her mother, Mrs Ujjala Padukone and was purchased from Angadi Galleria. She accessorised with heavy ethnic jewellery. Ranveer complemented his bride in a white and gold sherwani by Sabyasachi Mukherjee.
For their Anand Karaj, Deepika opted for a traditional red lehenga by Sabyasachi and she accessorised the look with heavy gold ethnic jewellery including a statement maang tikaa, bangles and jhumkas. Ranveer perfectly complemented his bride in a bright red and gold sherwani.
We cannot wait for more pictures of the happy couple but until then, we wish them a very happy life together and a hearty congratulations.
