Amidst tight security, photos from the sets of the ‘Dutt’ biopic have made their way online. The pictures of Ranbir Kapoor and Paresh Rawal, who play Sanjay Dutt and Sunil Dutt were spotted shooting for the biopic in a suburban studio in Mumbai.
Ranbir Kapoor, who has beefed up for the part, was seen on the sets in a baggy shirt, a waistcoat and dark trousers. Joining Ranbir on the sets was his on-screen father, Paresh Rawal, who was dressed in white pyjama-kurta, and looked a lot like late Sunil Dutt.
According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the shooting for the sequence kicked off at 9 am and wrapped up around 6 pm. For the sequence, a warehouse had been erected at the far end of the studio which borders the Aarey Milk Colony. The premises are guarded by as many as 20 bouncers.
Helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, the ‘Dutt’ biopic is a feel-good film and will explore the personal life of the actor rather than the ‘guns, drugs and the underworld’ aspect. Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Dia Mirza, Manisha Koirala and Vicky Kaushal in pivotal roles, the movie is scheduled for a Christmas 2017 release.
