'Bajirao Mastani' actor Ranveer Singh, who is known for his quirky internet videos, a la Taher Shah parody, recently set the internet abuzz when he posted a video of him serenading Ileana D'Cruz as a part of promotions for 'Mubarakan'. Ranveer was seen grooving with Ileana on the iconic 'Hawa Hawa' track, which was recreated for Anees Bazmee's 'Mubarakan'.
Talking about the video, Ileana said that after having teamed up with Ranveer for the video, she realised that Ranveer has all the qualities of a director. Ileana said, "Varun had already uploaded his take on the track and Ranveer wanted to do something funnier. He was dubbing in the same studio as Arjun and me and he waltzed in, informing us that he wanted to shoot a video too. By the time he returned from the dubbing, he had the whole shoot planned.”
Praising Ranveer's directorial skills, Ileana revealed, "It was really cute. I haven’t done a film with him yet but this video gave me a glimpse of how wonderful a director he could be."
On the work front, Ranveer Singh is currently shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmavati' alongside Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor. Whereas, Ileana is currently busy with the promotions of her next, 'Mubarakan' with Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and Athiya Shetty.
