Many celebrities before have taken offence to the jokes cracked by Krushna Abhishek and his team on the show ‘Comedy Nights Bachao’, in an attempt to roast them. Not a long while ago, actress Tannishtha Chatterjee was on the show to promote her movie ‘Parched’. However, she walked out of the sets after racist remarks were thrown at her.
And now, John Abraham too decided to walk out of the sets after Krushna's comments on his performances in his previous films did not go down well with him. John, along with Sonakshi Sinha and Tahir Raj Bhasin, was there to promote his upcoming movie ‘Force 2’. But things heated up a bit when Krushna started to pick on John’s old movies like ‘Paap’.
Feeling bad about the incident, Krushna said, “John and I have known each other for many years now and he is the only Bollywood actor who called me when my father passed away recently. I am really sad that I upset him."
Elaborating a bit on the incident, Krushna explained, “I was cracking jokes on his earlier films like ‘
Paap’. That's when he told me that those were his favourite films. Sometime later, when he refused to shake a leg with Sonakshi and me on stage, I realised that he was upset. He soon walked out and I ran after him, but he left. I want to apologise to him; I haven't slept since last few days because of this. I specially flew down from my shoot in Kulu Manali because John had agreed to be on the show. I hope he understands and forgives me."
Talking about a similar incident that happened in Tannishtha Chatterjee’s case, he said, “I had apologised then, but it did not bother me. But this has really saddened me because I feel John is one of the most genuine guys in the industry."
Talking about the movie, ‘Force 2’ hits the theatres on 18
th November 2016.
