Come May, we're going to be jumping with excitement. Not that we already aren't! Why, you ask? The royal wedding, of course! And today, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have shared more details of their upcoming royal wedding! Their ceremony will commence at 12 noon on May 19th at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle and as previously reported, the wedding will be broadcast, but the exact networks have not yet been revealed.
The Dean of Windsor will conduct the service and the Archbishop of Canterbury will officiate the vows, as announced by the Kensington Palace on social media recently. At 1 pm local time, the now-married couple will take a procession from St. George's Chapel through the town of Windsor and return to Windsor Castle via the Long Walk, a gorgeous tree-lined road extending from the castle. "They hope this short journey will provide an opportunity for more people to come together around Windsor and to enjoy the atmosphere of this special day," the palace added.
The newlyweds will have two receptions following the ceremony. The first will take place at St. George's Hall, where the couple and guests of the congregation will celebrate the wedding. The second will take place later that evening, where Harry's father, Prince Charles, will host a private celebration for the couple. The latter's venue has not yet been announced. The royal guests have not officially been confirmed, either. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who announced their engagement at the end of November, are "looking forward to the day and to being able to share their celebrations with the public," Kensington Palace announced.
We wouldn't mind an invite...
