Sharad Kelkar has played many grey shade roles, he is today known as the man behind the voice of ‘Baahubali’. At the recent Animation awards, held in Mumbai, the actor took a light-hearted dig at many co-stars when he said, “If VFX wouldn’t have been there many actors wouldn’t look as good as they look on the screen.”
The actor didn’t name any star in particular, but was he hinting at the shaped body of Salman Khan in ‘Tiger Zinda Hain’? On realising that it might end up in an unintentional controversy, he quickly added, “I wish all of you would also add VFX and effects to my body and make it look better too.”
Sharad looked charming at the event where he was awarded for his versatile performance. The Award was conferred to him as he is one of the few actors who has not only given life to characters on screen with acting but also rendered voice to leading Hollywood and Bollywood movies. With his profound voice, he then delivered the famous dialogues from ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’, which he dedicated to all the women present at the event.
Recently the actor took to social media to launch the teaser poster of his upcoming Marathi film ‘Raakshas’ where he has been first-time paired with beautiful actor Sai Tamhankar. The story revolves around a missing documentary filmmaker and his daughter’s quest to bring him back. The movie is slated for release on 23 February 2018.
