This 1982 comedy film starring Sanjeev Kumar and Deven Verma in a double role is one of the most memorable Bollywood movies of all time. Helmed by Gulzar, the movie is a remake of the 1963 Bengali language comedy film ‘Bhrantibilas’, that is based on Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar's Bengali novel by the same name, which itself is based on Shakespeare's play ‘The Comedy of Errors’.

This 1969 blockbuster won the Filmfare Award in the ‘Best Film’ category. Starring Rajesh Khanna in a double role and and Sharmila Tagore as the female lead, the movie won the latter her first Filmfare Best Actress Award.
